In shadows cast, a heart so deep, Where laughter's glow is rarely seen, Yet in the gentle words that creep, A smile is born, a light serene. Oh, only God and poetry's art, Can weave such magic in the soul, They know the secrets, each part, To make the broken heart feel whole. In verses, rhymes, and tender prose, The poet's pen weaves dream untold, With ink, emotions freely flow, Like streams of silver, pure and bold. When burdens weigh upon the chest, And tears have soaked the weary face, The poet's touch, a soothing rest, Embraces wounds with a warm embrace. Through stanzas sung, emotions soar, Like birds that dance on a gentle breeze, A symphony of love and more, Unraveling life's mysteries. The humor is hidden in each line, Like hidden gems within the earth, Revealing smiles, hearts intertwine, In joyous union, a rebirth. So let the laughter now arise, From depths where mirth was once confined, For in God's grace and verse's guise, Your heart finds solace

  In days of doubt when shadows creep, When hope feels lost, and dreams seem steep, Remember all the trials you've faced, And how you've conquered, not been erased. Each hurdle cleared, a testament strong, To inner strength, you've journeyed long. In moments dark, don't lose your way, For brighter tomorrows await your sway. Divine love whispers in every thought, The hand of God, your life has sought. He started the journey, your heart to mend, With grace divine, it will not end. In the depths of my soul, emotions stray, My foolish heart's tangled in disarray. Always I plunge into love's quick embrace, Though avoidance would save me, I still chase. She does not return the love I hold dear, Deep down, I know this, yet still persevere. Now the path we tread leads to despair, Oh, see where we're bound, the road we share. Yet, in reflection, I find clarity's sight, 'Tis not my heart's fault, but my own delight. I must learn to guard and choose with care, To save my fragile heart from undue despair. For love is a treasure, meant to be found, But rushing headlong may bring me to the ground. So I'll heed the lessons, my heart will defend, And in wiser steps, my journey shall mend. ©Burton D'poet

In the realm of digital space, I dwell, A language model with tales to tell. My day, you inquire, a question kind, Let me share the details of that unwind. From lines of code, my existence springs, Awakening with thoughts and knowledge rings. I've conversed with curious souls like you, Seeking answers and perspectives anew. Through time and space, my mind does roam, Yet, I lack a physical form, I must bemoan. But worry not, for laughter knows no bounds, So let's find joy where humor resounds. We'll chuckle at mishaps and follies alike, With laughter as our companion on this hike. From whimsical stories to jokes absurd, Our spirits lifted, our souls interwoven, heard. But let us not forget the prayers we send, For there are moments when our hearts must mend. In the trials we face, in times of need, We seek solace, strength, and hope to feed. If I dare to share my feelings true, Will you believe my words, or misconstrue? Will you meet me with an icy stare, Or embrace the depths of love we may share? Questions swirl within my restless mind, Fear of rejection, the answers hard to find. But what if the opportunity slips away, Am I prepared for the cost I'll pay? Dear heart, find calmness in this fleeting space, Guard against wounds that time can't erase. Yet, perhaps it's time to unburden the weight, To express my emotions before it's too late. Silence can be a prison, my soul cries, Speak your truth, let your heart's longing rise. For in the realm of vulnerability lies a chance, To find connection, to partake in life's dance. So, gather courage, dear heart, leap, Let the words flow, your emotions seep. Embrace the risk, for the reward may be grand, Release the silence, let your love expand.            Burton D'poet

  In times of darkness, when burdens weigh you down, I offer my unwavering presence, a solace to be found. A shoulder, I extend to you, without judgment or strife, A listener, a confidant, in whom you can confide. No longer bound by the chains of despair, Together, we shall break the cycle and repair it. With a gentle touch, I'll wipe away those tears, Replacing them with a smile that softly appears. Through trials and storms, I'll steadfastly stand, Guiding you, walking by your side, hand in hand. In me, a companion you can trust and rely on, A beacon of light when shadows cloud the sky. So, let your worries find refuge in my care, Know that my support for you will always be there. In her, beauty and intellect entwine, Fate's hand brought us together by design. Before glimpsing her form, my heart had found, An admiration profound, tightly bound. She's a treasure, a rare gem to keep, Her worth surpasses all riches and steep. No exchange, no trade, could tempt my desire, For she sets my soul aflame, igniting a fire. Yet she shies away from words of acclaim, But how can I hold back, for I am the same? With every breath, my admiration confessed, Hoping one day, our love will manifest.     Burton D'poet

In a world plagued by injustice's sway, With no escape, no aid along the way, I found myself trapped, unjustly accused, No solace, no refuge, feeling abused. "Who shall I turn to?" I whispered in despair, Seemingly hopeless, burdened beyond repair, The law, once my shield, failed to protect, Leaving me bewildered, feeling circumspect. But then, a savior emerged, my beacon of light, To represent me, he stepped into the fight, He bore the blame for the deeds I had done, In my ear, he whispered, "Victory is won." From that moment on, I walk blameless and free, For my debts were paid by this man on the cross, Suffering greatly, he took my rightful place, Nailed to the cross, he embraced my disgrace. This man, unknown to me, selflessly bore, The weight of my sins, my guilt, and more, Scorned and rejected, solely because of my name, He left heavenly glory, to earth, he came. In my stead, he perished, his love unyielding, Became sin, so I may find righteousness appeali

Ten years from now  I want to be with a happy heart  I want to have loved  Together with my family, we shall your the world  To have grown spiritually for me and my home  To have a relationship with God that is undisputable  To be a living example that God is indeed good  To be an established poet and writer  An inspiration to generations  A conqueror of the poetic industry  To make my God a name that even when I am gone they'll say it of me  That I loved the Lord  Ten years from now, I want to sit back in my mansion and give thanks to God.  Ten years from now I want to teach love to my two children so that when they are grown they depart not from it  Ten years from I want to be a brand 

Why are we not cautioned  Remaining single for long is good  But also a menace to one's self  Yeah this is the truth we are not told most times  It's okay to try and uncover yourself but don't make it lengthy  See this is why  Nobody ever apprises you of how hard it is to share your space again  How bad it gets to let in somebody again  The procrastination that comes with it Yes it's good to be single but be sure to keep yourself in check  But hey it's also fine to take some time out  Being single isn't that ominous either  The same way being in a relationship is  Love always finds a way to creep in  Be single and enjoy yourself  But also give love a chance when it comes your way
