Sweet hurt

This heart that once knew you

Still stings for you

You snatched from it and never repaid

Currently with every heartbeat

It thumps rhythmically your name

I never felt you would subdue my heart as you did

Made an effort to shirk all about you

But still, a slab of you plays on

Sought medical attention

I was warned to get over you

But how do I get over you?

With every melody of your name

My heart rejoices the more

Let's mislay in this symphony

Probably then I will let you go

As of now you yet cling to my heart

Hope you hear it's a loud cry.
