SACRED SURRENDER

Image
In the sacred hush, my voice will rise, A melody of worship, a soulful prize. "I will not be silent," my pledge to declare, A hymn of devotion, a fervent prayer. As long as breath courses through my being, A symphony of worship, forever freeing. "I will always worship You," the solemn vow, In the sacred rhythm, I humbly bow. Here's my worship, an offering profound, A sacrifice of love, in awe I am bound. "All of my worship," echoes in the air, A surrender complete, a heartfelt prayer. Father, receive this hymn, my humble song, In the tapestry of faith, where I belong. "All of my worship," a declaration pure, In Your presence, my devotion shall endure. Burton D'poet

" Woman unveiled"

Image
Girl, oh girl, a tale unfolds, In the pages of time, a story molds. A metamorphosis, gentle and grand, From innocence to a woman, hand in hand. Through whispers of youth, a melody sung, In the dance of life, your steps are sprung. A kaleidoscope of moments, colors unfurl, Girl, oh girl, now a woman in the world. The canvas of dreams, painted with grace, A silhouette transformed, finding your place. From butterfly wings to strength unspoken, In your journey, a spirit awoken. Embrace the chapters, both bitter and sweet, As a woman, your essence, a rhythmic beat. In every stride, resilience beams, A moving poem, woven in dreams. © Burton D'poet

A surrendered heart!

Image
In the depths of feeling, a tempest stirs, Love's bitter echo, a melody that blurs. A paradox, this yearning and sorrow, Forgetting seems an impossible tomorrow. You hurt me deeply, left scars unseen, Each thought of love, a wound yet keen. Ripped apart, the fragments remain, Aching whispers, a haunting refrain. Self-deception weaves a fragile thread, "I'm over you," a mantra unsaid. Yet healing lingers, just out of sight, The pain, a specter in the fading light. Today, surrender to a higher art, Let God within, mend every part. Release the ache, embrace the divine, In the letting go, your soul aligns. So, in the sacred space, hand in glove, Say, "God, I am yours, in pain and love." Transform the hurt, let blessings flow, For in surrender, a new chapter will grow. ©Burton D'poet

"Burton's Triumph"

Image
Burton, in the tapestry of years, Enduring trials, conquering fears. Time's crucible, your strength refined, Persistence, the beacon in the grind. Through struggles, a journey untold, Yet, your spirit resilient, bold. Don't falter now, you've come so far, God's embrace, your guiding star. Trust in Him, surrender the weight, In challenges faced, find your fate. Adored by time, resilient and true, Burton, the victor, faith sees you through. Yours truly Burton D'poet

THE ONE I SEEK

Image
In the dance of life, I've found the one, Harmony between heart and mind, newly spun. Yet fear lingers, a specter from the past, Cautionary whispers, memories cast. Undeterred, I tread towards her embrace, Risking the shadows for love to grace. She, a treasure sought in moments rare, A balm for wounds, a breath of fresh air. In the echoes of history, where pain resides, I still insist, where destiny abides. For in her, I glimpse a sanctuary, A haven where love blooms, a harmonious symphony. Amid uncertainties, she stands strong, A beacon of joy where I truly belong. She completes me with laughter and grace, In her presence, I find my happy place. Destiny, with wisdom, orchestrated the scene, Uniting us, a tale unforeseen. In her arms, I discover the home I seek, A haven where love's language we eloquently speak. Burton D'poet

"Silent echoes"

Image
Silent echoes carry words untold, Hidden pain and sadness, stories unfold. If only you listened, paid attention to see, The journey of healing, the way to set free. In silence, we carry burdens so deep, But in understanding, our hearts can leap. Each step forward, a path to mend, The journey of healing, where brokenness can end. Burton D'poet

"Midnight Melodies of Longing"

Image
In the stillness of the night's embrace, I sat alone, lost in a quiet space. The wind, a violin, played its sweet song, As trees in harmony swayed along. The grass, enchanted, danced in the breeze, Stirred by memories that brought me to my knees. I missed you deeply, your presence so near, A love once cherished, now aching to reappear. In silence, we shared moments profound, Gazing into eyes where our souls were found. Laughter and smiles, endless and bright, Our connection, a language, spoken without light. When we parted, it felt like a conversation divine, As if our souls intertwined, a love so fine. These songs of the night, echo your grace, And tears fall softly as I long for your embrace. If you chance upon this poem's gentle plea, Know my heart yearns for you, endlessly. So, rush back to these waiting arms, my dear, But until then, in silence, I'll cherish yesteryear.  Burton D'poet
